We are looking to appoint an excellent, highly motivated and caring individual to support a child with an Education Health Care Plan in Reception.  Experience of working with children with additional needs is essential, especially in areas of:

  • social communication and interaction needs;
  • sensory needs
  • receptive and expressive language

As well as being able to communicate effectively and working as part of a team around the child, the person we are looking for will have the ability to use their initiative by adapting to the child’s needs and help provide a safe, supportive and stimulating environment. Support with the child’s personal care, including toileting and feeding, is also required.

This post is to support a pupil with an EHCP and so will be available as long as the child remains at the school and retains the EHCP.
