cookery, craft and sewing clubs

October 17

The Cookery Club made healthy and delicious vegetable soup. The children practised peeling, chopping, dicing and cutting skills. They even cleaned up before tasting the soup.

Sewing Club

Our Sewing Club have had fun making emoji cushions for the Summer Fayre.

Art and Craft Club

St Mary's Art and Craft Club that is run on Tuesday's during the lunchbreak. Children were very excited to hear that they would be taking part in creating  themed displays, making props and costumes for school plays. We managed to create wheat strands for the Harvest Festival display  using paper quilling technique that requires a lot of patience. Besides that, we tried to bring old British tradition of making horn husk dollies at the end of the  harvest season. Children loved making them and were very proud of their results! New 'Charity" display letters were weaved by the club members as well.
